Join Kathy Kelly Praying for Peace Saturday

Kathy Kelly is here in NYC this weekend and praying for peace in Washington Square Park on Saturday, Sept. 7th, at 6:30 pm. As she shared it on Facebook, it looks like Catholic Worker is fine with others joining in. Kathy wrote:

Here in NYC, I'm a guest at Maryhouse Catholic Worker. Several of us have organized a vigil at Washington Square Park, 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, joining Pope Francis's call to oppose U.S. military strikes against Syria.

PLEASE NOTE: If you can't join that event, national Fellowship of Reconciliation is encouraging people to Pray for Peace in Syria. They have a lovely blog post with some suggested prayers: http://forusa.org/blogs/for/call-for-prayers-for-peace-syria/12409

Blessings and Peace hugs,
